God's
Heartbeat For Family
The
plan of God for man right from Adam is that
man should not be alone. Out of man God created a woman. He brought
the woman
to Adam and He joined them together in holy wedlock. This is the first
marriage in history. The heartbeat of God for family is that both
husband and
wife should stay together for life in a monogamous marriage and
produce godly
children that will grow up to do the will of God.
Importance of Family
Family is the unit and
bedrock of every nation or
society. The plan of God for each nation is that its citizens should
know Him
(God), fear Him, obey Him and follow His guidance. This is possible
when each
of the citizens of such a nation grows up in a godly environment where
the
fear of God reigns. This is what God desires to do through the
institution of
marriage. If each family that makes up a nation is healthy, the whole
nation
will be healthy. In fact, God will bless and prosper such a nation.
Indeed,
peace and love will reign in the nation.
Effects of Broken Home
Satan is aware of how the
world will look like if
the totality of families in the world submit totally to God and each
member
of the families live a godly life. This prompted him to fight against
God's
plan for the whole world through the family. He started his crusade
against
God's plan right from the first family. He introduced sin of
disobedience to
Eve. The woman accepted his offer and later lured Adam, her husband
into it.
The first family lost their first estate as a result of disobedience.
From
that time, things were no more the same in the institution of
marriage.
The
most dangerous thing is that Satan does not
relax his attacks against family. The fact at the moment is that some
marriages have broken down irretrievably. Also, some families that are
still
living together are not operating together. The husbands and wives in
such
families could best be described as 'tenants-in-common.' They are
living
together like cat and rat. On the other hand, some of the stable
families do not
give priority to the training of their children in a godly way. The
husbands
and wives are too busy pursuing the things of the world. They are
successful
as far as world assessment is concerned. But they have failed in their
homes
because Satan as estranged their children. The overall effects of the
above
are:
The Way Out
It is quite laudable that
government of various
nations are fighting the above menace in our society. It is pertinent
to
stress that all these campaigns can only have desired effects if they
start
from the family, the foundation of the society. The Scripture says,
'If the
foundation is destroyed what can the righteous do?' There is need for a
non
sectarian and non governmental institution that will take these
campaigns to
the grassroots - the family.
In order to solve these
problems and save the
society from complete decay, God has raised Pastor and Lady Evangelist
Lawrence K. Ayodele to carry out the ministry of restoring the lost
virtues
in the family. Pastor Lawrence K. Ayodele
and Lady
Evangelist Eunice O. Ayodele started Lawreunice Ayodele Ministry over a
decade ago. Their ministry has changed many individuals and families.
They
are gifted teachers teaching the SECRETS of a successful and stable
marriage.

centre where
marriage cultures will be studied.
- By undertaking
Radio/Television ministries
with a special focus on family.
- By setting up an orphanage
where the needy
children will be trained and rehabilitated.
Our Belief
We believe that:
- Marriage
is a Divine institution - the first
institution established by God before cultures, nations and
religious
grouped evolved.
- Marriage should not be
operated on the basis
of cultures, man-made laws, constitutions of nations or religious
beliefs that do not conform with the Word of God.
- God's
design for marriage is
one-man-one-wife. That is, monogamy.
- Marriage is for the life of
the marriage
partners. Divorce is a sin against God and humanity.
- No
marital problem is beyond solution. With
commitment, perseverance and love as well as faith in God,
husband and
wife can surmount all the obstacles confronting them. But Christ
must be
allowed to take the central stage in the marriage.
- Healthy
marriage is the only solution to the
national and global crises.
- Learning and applying the
principles of
marriage as stipulated in the Word of God is the only key to a
successful and happy marriage.
